As a designer, I have travelled all over the globe visiting clients and suppliers - I am no stranger to long haul!
Over the years, I developed a little ritual of preparing some essential oils when packing for a trip, as it's a great way of staying fresh on any flight.
It's so simple - yet effective. Here's how - fill a small bowl with cold water and add 5-6 drops of essential oil. I use lavender oil as it has relaxing properties. Add cotton wool pads to the bowl and let them soak for a few minutes. Then gently squeeze out the pads to leave them damp and pop into a zip lock bag to ensure they don't dry out.
Remember to pop the bag into your hand luggage (they are no use in the hold!) then use mid flight to refresh your face.
Do let me know if you try this out by leaving a comment below.
(P.S. I would advise you always test out any new oils on your skin to check for any sensitivity issues)
