1. Protect your clothes from spillages

Toiletry spillages can be a complete nightmare. Nobody wants to arrive at their hotel, only to discover their clothes are covered in shampoo.

Don’t worry, there is a simple solution. Opt for a wash bag with covered seams.

What are covered seams?

A covered seam is an important aspect of any wash bag. Most beauty bags will have a traditional finished seam edge, where the fabric is folded over and stitched. But to avoid any liquids escaping, the seam also needs to be covered.

Why are covered seams so important?

When it comes to tackling spillages, covered seams are one of the most important things to consider. They add an extra layer of protection, so any spillages are contained. All of our wash bags have been designed to the highest quality and all seams are covered, so you don’t worry when travelling. It’s also important to ensure your wash bag has secure and sturdy fastenings.

2. A waterproof beauty bag is a must

In case you do have some sort of toiletry explosion on route to your destination, then you want to be able to clean it up quickly.

Don’t waste precious time that you could be spending chilling by the pool. A waterproof wash bag is a must, so any spillages can be easily wiped away.

3. Keep makeup brushes in top tip condition

It’s not just makeup that is fragile when on the go. Avoid makeup brush bristles from being permanently damaged and pack your brushes correctly.

Keep them in a cosmetics bag or makeup brush purse that they fit in and don’t try and squash them into a too small compartment.

4. Familiarise yourself with airport liquid regulations before you fly

Did you know? Skin care products make up 16% of the items confiscated at airport security every year in the UK

You don’t want this to happen to you, so make sure your beauty products meet the regulations.

Invest in a reusable transparent airport bag and pre-pack it before you go away. You can only take 100ml bottles with you and they need to fit comfortably inside the bag with the zip completely done up.

5. A hanging wash bag is a great hotel bathroom space saver

Save space in your hotel bathroom and hang up your beauty bag. A strong hook  ensures it will take the weight of your beauty products so you can create hanging storage for the duration of your trip.

Transparent compartments make it easy to organise your toiletries and simple to find products.
