'Tried & Tested' by Sarah

This month's reviewer is Sarah Hooper, who was selected at random from the many applicants we had in response to our public appeal for a reviewer. Read on for her genuine and honest comments...

To start with Sarah, please tell us a bit about yourself....

What were your first thoughts on receiving your Victoria Green delivery? 

Thought that the package was beautifully wrapped, and was very surprised when I opened it to see the excellent quality of the products within.  They were genuinely much bigger than I anticipated.  

How have you been using your bags? 

The wash bag has been an absolute god send over the past couple of weeks.  I play bowls and have used the wash bag to keep my suntan lotion, hairbrush, clips, tablets, with purse, phone and keys in.  It is just the right size to fit into my bowls bag and its waterproof, with this wet weather all my belongings have been kept together and dry.

How did you find the design of the bags and how did you use them? 

I really look forward to using the triple hanging bag when I go on holiday in June.  The clear bags allow you to see exactly what you have and allow decent size bottles in them.  The large detachable bag will be very useful to put phones, keys and some change in when going to the beach and  they wont get all sandy.  I also think that the hidden zipped pocket it excellent to keep things like sanitary product in, you know where they are but out of sight.  I think that the smallest clear pocket will store my jewellery in safely whilst travelling.

How would you rate the overall design and quality of the bags? 

I think that the size and quality of the bags are excellent, and are far more useful in terms of getting it all in in one bag as opposed to taking a couple of bags.  I also like the fact that they are all waterproof.  Would certainly have liked to have had them on our recent long haul holidays.

Having ‘tried and tested’ these bags, would you consider them value for money at RRP £15 (threefold hanging bag) and RRP £12 (wash bag)?

I think that they are excellent value for money and are very versatile in their uses. 

Would you buy a Victoria Green bag for a friend or family member in the future? If so, who?

I certainly intend to purchase a couple of the threefold hanging ones for my daughter and future daughter in law for Christmas.  I will also look at a couple of the other styles to add to my collection.
